CCF 2017 Grant Report: $66k to Support Local Organizations

The Coleman County Foundation awarded more than $66,000 to local organizations during its 2017 grant cycle.  The list of programs being funded is below.

Central Texas Opportunities, Inc. – Support for Hunters for the Hungry Program

Coleman County Youth Activity Center – Funding to replace flooring in offices, kitchen, and board room of Bill Franklin Center, and repairs to Goree Expo Center overhead doors                                 

Coleman Police Department – Funding to establish a K-9 unit             

Coleman Volunteer Fire Department – Funding to purchase a breathing air compressor system                           

Coleman Youth Recreation Association – Support for Phase 1 of the new youth sports complex                       

Holiday Hill, Inc. – Dining enhancements for Residents of Holiday Hill         

Lake Coleman VFD and Community Center – Support to renovate an existing truck (meeting a local challenge grant)                               

Novice Volunteer Fire Department – Support to replace fire pumps and tanks for wildland firefighting trucks
